Urban Harmony Sheet Music on Display
In honor of Black History Month, Classic Urban Harmony displayed
some of its rare group harmony sheet music and other memorabilia in
the Franklin Township Public Library of Somerset County, NJ. On
display were pieces of sheet music by groups like the Mills Brothers,
Ink Spots, Orioles, Clovers, Five Keys, Hearts, Imperials, Jayhawks,
Penguins, Teenagers and more. Also exhibited were posters, records,
photos, lobby cards and other vocal group and doo wop memorabilia.
The items were in the display case nearest the circulation
desk as you enter the library. Franklin Township Public Library is
located in the Somerset County Municipal Building Complex at 485 DeMott Lane (near Amwell Rd.) in central New Jersey.
The exhibit was up from January 17 until the end of February.
