Doo Wop Presentation (Part 1)
at Riviera @ East Windsor (NJ) Active Adult Community
June 9, 2010
On June 9, 2010, we gave our Classic Urban Harmony
presentation, "Under The Streetlamp: Tales From the Doo Wop Era: Part 1" at
the Riviera East Windsor (NJ) active adult community. We were invited
there by the Women's Club and were shown utmost hospitality. We
brought along our friend Bobby Thomas of the Vibranaires and Orioles as a
special guest and we were all treated to a wonderful buffet dinner.
After dinner, the men of the community were invited in for our presentation.
All told, there were more than a hundred people in attendance. The
audience was not only extremely enthusiastic but very knowledgeable.
Two people guessed our mystery record right away (not an easy task)!
Our sincere thanks to0 the Women's Club of Riviera @ East Windsor for
allowing us to give our presentation there. We hope return soon with
Part 2.
