Classic
Urban Harmony's "Under the Streetlamp:
Tales From the Doo Wop Era: Part 1"
at the Garwoood (NJ) Public Library
August 3, 2010
What a fabulous reception we had at the Garwood (NJ) Public
Library on August 3. 2010. We had a nice crowd and everyone was really
into our presentation. In addition to our regular Doo Wop Part 1
presentation, we also did a short tribute to Moonglows' lead Harvey Fuqua
who recently passed away. We were also happy to welcome and introduce
our friend, Ron Taylor of the Del Larks from nearby Plainfield who dropped
by. Thanks to the staff of the Garwood Public Library, especially
Carol Lombardo and Linda Fiore who worked especially hard to make our
presentation a success. We had a great time and hope to return to
Garwood with future programs this Fall.
